How to draw a double arc

I have tried combining two arcs using 'intersect selected', but it's a real struggle. My rendering has a few transparent spaces, but it should look solid. Can anybody link me up with a tutorial explaining how to do this?

Hi,
SketchUp has difficulty making faces less than 1mm. If your model is small try scaling it up by 10 then after applying the intersection scale it back by 0.1.
This should prevent missing faces

Success! My original scale was 1/4 X 3/16 inch. By simply doubling the size, everything worked as advertised. Thank you!
