.. model something like this? [see attachment] ...

Obviously I am only going to model half of it and mirror, but, I am wondering if there's any tips/hints/tricks that will make my job easier?

      Many thanks in advance...

If you want to go all out and model the whole thing, use the Draw Metal plugin. Note you will still end up with a pretty large filesize, even if using components.

An easier method (and preferred by Google if you are submitting to Google Earth) is to make it just a transparent(PNG) texture with the background deleted.

          Hope that helps πŸ˜‰

Many thanks for the reply. πŸ˜„

It's not for GE on this occasion, I'm actually trying to produce a model for a friend who is getting married at the church in question, going to do a bit of photoshopping/rendering on it and see if it will do a nice pictoral keepsake. 😲

I'd use Fredo's Bezier Plugin for the framework etc tocreate a series of lines. Then use either 'Follow Me' tool or 'Lines to Tubes' plugin to beef it out!
