How to model this

Hi all,

I was hoping one of the 'organic shapes gurus' could help me get started on modelling this:

Rest assured, I'm not looking for someone to do it for me, just could use a few pointers on how to get the initial shape right. I have most of the important rubies, just not Subdivide and Smooth. But I'm willing to buy that if it's needed

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It proved incredibly difficult but Elisei kindly posted a super model here

It's very similar to your building and maybe you can adapt it somehow?
