[Plugin] PickIt
-
UI
Tools -> PickIt
Supports ThomThom's MenuUsage
- Click to select best picked entity.
- Right-Click for a list of alternative entities.
The main usage here is the Right-Click menu when you have several overlapping entities that are hard to select. Right-click and select from a list of all entities under the cursor in the current context.
Note that there are no way to add or subtract from the current selection. It is a quick and dirty script. I might update this in the future.

What was it?
(In case someone else asks this) -
The Thomthom menu works with SU V6?
-
Should do. I'd think it'll work with SU4 if you really insist.

-
Thank you Thomthom!
The problem was that....I was looking for Pickit in the plugin bar instead it is in the Tool one.
sorry.....
Stefx.

This will be useful

Glad someone decided to do this, Thomas.! Thanks.
I talked with SU folks at the first base camp about how Rhino was able to this with overlapping geometry and how useful it was.

Hello,
After years of using this plugin flawlessly, today I have a problem with it. It works perfectly fine with SU 2021, but in SU 2020 it just disappeared from my Tools menu. I was doing some plugin cleanup and I disabled and threw away some of them, but PickIt is installed and enabled, and I don't think it has any dependencies that I could have carelessly removed. I tried reinstalling it, but it didn't help. I also cannot find PickIt on the Shortcuts (Preferences) list.
What could have gone wrong?I tried selecting and deselecting stuff inside and outside groups, but it doesn't change anything either.
