yes it's true but is there any way doing some interior scene or exterior scene that is not to much heavy, i actually doing all this model in sketchup, putting all in 3d curtain plants and everything, actually some of my project when i do rendered i never use pp on it. when finish rendering it's done for me...

I asked a similar question not long ago and was told that the "holy grail" was a program that would process a component, reducing its poly count into something that was appropriate for the scale of the model it is inserted in. But like that challis, remains out of reach.

Can't help you with that evaluation, SU is only 1 of 3 CAD/3D modeling programs that I have experience with. SU is one two that I continue to use.

i use SU everytime i want a 3d model, my question is that why SU is always heavy file & heavy file is very hard to render... my render engine is podium it's very easy to use... but some of my model can't render in podium don't know why...just like the 1 villa that i finish modeling, i use 3d curtains and 3d plant and for me that image is still lack of accessories but i can not render it...

I suspect, large textures, high poly trees, high poly drapery, and other high poly components.

We must understand that SU was primarily developed as a design tool rather than a 3d modeling package. There's just so much SU can do when it comes to high poly count. A number of rendering plugins from respective third party developers have appeared over the past four years, but advancements from the SU side has been minimal. There are users that are pushing for an SU CAD while others are waiting to see if someday SU can go head to head with 3ds Max. IMO Google only sees SU as a low polygon modeling tool for Google Earth. And the new 'styles' were just added to make the architects happy. Maybe SU is not just fit for modeling Renaissance villas with 3d plants. Maybe we are pushing it too hard. I've heard someone working on 100 MB skp models, and it makes me wonder how can my computer handle that as I can hardly navigate with less than 20000 polygons.

actually i modeled already an 102mb in a single majlis with some wall decoration and others, most af my model is less than 100mb that's why sometime i'm affraid to do 3d model in SU with a very heavy file.

                      What are you model stats?
                      Faces, edges, components, groups?
How large are the textures you use?

Can you post some screenshots of your models and renders?
That way it's easier to evaluate what you can do.

The model is also shared there.
