Is this something that builds on the Impression series?
-
I don't think so. Looks like this is Autodesk's attempt to get software into the homeowners market, especially given the price of it. If it were for the professionals it would easily be 50x the price and only available with subscription. (no exaggeration)
Impression is only available with certain 'pro' products and then only if you are on subscription. My own personal experience with Impression was miserable. Unbelievably slow and bloated, then half way thru the job the Impression file corrupted with no reason or way to recover. It certainly left an Impression.

Apart from Impression being unstable and crashing too often for my taste - the worst part is that I could never get good quality prints. Looked like it was fixed at something that looked like 100dpi. Could never get a sharp thing crisp line.
Anywa - as for this app - looking quickly at one of the videos, reminds me of Layout.
-
Yeah, it looks a bit like LayOut and a few other of those simple diagram production apps. Also its Win only
-
Reminds me of those off the shelf 'design your dreamhome' boxed softwares that Bestbuy and Hastings sells.

This Autodesk project holded another name before : Cooper, or something like that. I tested it a few month ago when it was still a beta, and It's really similar to Layout. During the beta, the soft was a bit slow and all options were not available, but ats this time, the soft was already nice. I'll try it again.
