(Is it the good place for this ? I don't know)

(thank youTIG so lot for this new set of tools which increase as we can't tell the power of SU)

[Plugin] Extrude Edges by Rails by Face is very interesting and promising to my point of view.
But his behavior seems complex and have to be tamed if we want to attempt predictable results...

Family illness miles away from home means I can't pay full attention right now... πŸ˜’

However, the profile-face's orientation [as explained in the notes] is taken from its 'flat' Y/green axis which is taken as Z/vertical when it's copied and 'transposed' onto the end of a rail.
The face is also 'transformed' onto the nearest end of any rail curve.
Perhaps using one face and one rail will give you simpler examples - use EEbyFace... This is 'method' used in EEbyRailsByFace so the results should be the same - the more complex EEbyRailsByFace assumes you understand the basic rules applying to EEbyFace...
Also the built-in FollowMe that's used can 'twist' the profile, so you need to factor that in...
That might explain why the face isn't at the slope' angle but perpendicular to the first segment in the rail's curve ?
              πŸ˜•
