      Hello all,
      Another big gap between posting here but this is worth a message.

      I was over in Warwickshire visiting family and my 7yr old nephew wanted to see the model of the church he'd been told I was building, I duly showed him, told him it was done in Sketchup and thought no more of it.

      The next day my sister emails me this:
      [flash=480,360:2yxyy4le]http://www.youtube.com/v/QIH_iGaHpSo&ap=%2526fmt%3D22[/flash:2yxyy4le]

      She tells me he did if after seeing Sketchup for the first time only 1 1/2 hours before!

      This morning (3 days later) I get another email 'Jay builds his own house this morning' with this attached:
      [flash=480,360:2yxyy4le]http://www.youtube.com/v/ymgtkVm6fhg&ap=%2526fmt%3D22[/flash:2yxyy4le]

      Please note the email title...THIS MORNING, this morning! its a Saturday and he's up designing and knocking out models of houses before I've even had my 17th cup of coffee.

      Woh! I say woh there boy, that's just not how it's done in these parts, Ya just can't be goin' around showin' up the big boys, yer going to get yourself hurt, Hurt I say!.

          I still remember by first model, a bridge I made in 20 min. No exposer to scketchup before that so basicly I was a random kid who jumped into this 3-D world by accident, and look at me now!

          Getting the perfect sig is hard...

          Google it!

                You might want to put in there also a Gymn subscription, before he becomes an antisocial nerd ๐Ÿ˜„

                    What got me was his proportions, the door, windows, basic building height etc. are very good. I don't imagine for a moment he entered any values whilst modelling it so its all visual guess work.

                      that's what I noticed, too, Paul, excellent proportions!
                      my two SU artists at home just turned 8 and they have not done as "proportional" work as this kid does naturally! ๐Ÿ‘

                      of course, now they just want to build something quick so they can jump to rendering in Twilight... but ๐Ÿ˜’ what are you gonna do.
