I think it's good, the render is also good, I like the caustics.
I would however soften the rim of the glass, maybe round corner or bevel as it looks like it could cut lips.
Thank you Solo.
Yes, you are right. I will modify it with round corners. It's the first time I'm playing with caustics. The glass has been created with default values. I will try to modify some parameters to test different renders.

Here's a new render with a round corner on the rim of the glass.
-
The same with some ice.
-
Luis, that is just awesome
-
yes mate nice modeling and render, specially the ice-inside version... I like it

Oh yeah, the rounded lip on glass and the Ice render is fantastic.

Hi Luis,
your Rendering is really fantastic. It looks so very realistic. Maybe I can do that too someday. The attached image is from a beginner.
-
as Solo declared on my topic, adding more details will improve the final result. here is a view of my model
-
Thanks solo for your advice, the render looks better now...and the most important, my lips are now safe...
Majid:
I'll try to make a mold seam as you did in your Mug render ( http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=24408&st=0&sk=t&sd=a). -

seeing forward to see more nice renders , keep good rendering

Hi guys, just some thoughts here.
I think you both did an awesome job as far as modelling is concern.
IMHO, Maj models would have a slight edge in terms of realism.
I love the way he did the "curve edge" for the water.
Probably you can in-cooperate those in your new model. -
Good day dspace,
Thanks for your comments.
I also did a curve edge...but we can't see it because it is too microscopic -
Sorry for my bad english, I'm trying to learn it.
-
salut,
very realistic
it's impressive.
il faut que j'essais sur un vitrail.
merci.
