      Hi everybody,

Majid gave me some ideas...I tried to build a realistic glass, but it was difficult. The glass designed and rendered by Majid is amazing. It is very realistic ! My render is not so bad (I hope 💚 ), but not perfect. I'm still trying to improve it...

      Here is my render.
      What do you think ?

I think it's good, the render is also good, I like the caustics.

I would however soften the rim of the glass, maybe round corner or bevel as it looks like it could cut lips.

Yes, you are right. I will modify it with round corners.

It's the first time I'm playing with caustics. The glass has been created with default values. I will try to modify some parameters to test different renders.

Here's a new render with a round corner on the rim of the glass.

Oh yeah, the rounded lip on glass and the Ice render is fantastic.

                        Hi Luis,

your Rendering is really fantastic. It looks so very realistic. Maybe I can do that too someday. The attached image is from a beginner.

I'll try to make a mold seam as you did in your Mug render ( http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=24408&st=0&sk=t&sd=a).

Hi guys, just some thoughts here.
I think you both did an awesome job as far as modelling is concern.
IMHO, Maj models would have a slight edge in terms of realism.
I love the way he did the "curve edge" for the water.
Probably you can in-cooperate those in your new model. 😉

                                  Good day dspace,

                                  Thanks for your comments.
I also did a curve edge...but we can't see it because it is too microscopic 💚
