Model this - a simple cube

No, that's probably a parallel projection/front view cube.
edit: Only those with a two dimensional point of view will see it that way.
-
And that's not even fair, TIG. We are suffering with the basics here and you post such a teaser!

-
Tutorial for creating a cube.
-
Start up ARRIS CAD (You might be able to do this with AutoCAD as well)
-
Type in the "Single Line" command: :sln
-
Enter 5 points for the base of the cube
=A(0,0,0)
=A(10,0,0)
=A(10,10,0)
=A(0,10,0)
=A(0,0,0)- Repeat for the top of the cube:
:sln;=A(0,0,10);=A(10,0,10);=A(10,10,10);=A(0,10,10);=A(0,0,10)
-
Switch to an isometric view:
-
Use "Single Alternating Line" :sal to connect the base points with the top points.
- Use the cursor and the mouse, and the right-hand mouse button to snap to the ends of the existing lines.
-
Export model to DWG and import into SketchUp
-
Use the SketchUp Face tool to draw faces on each of the 6 sides.

Sorry I think I misunderstood the type of Cube...
Hope plugins were allowed...
And I thought my one was quite successful:

but now you completely confused me. Maybe someone should explain me first what the 3 means in 3d...

-
Aaaah, a 3D cube not a n-dimensional hypercube then?

-
A cube? Here are 64 cubes. Its a SU raw 2d export, some PP in toycamera analogcolor.

-
okay . ..showing off now and making us strugglers feel bad.
and when I say US i mean me.

-

My cube
has spherized, inflated difracted and multiply

With Sketchup is really hard to make. I'll try with Zbrush, then maybe it works better.

-
I like this thread, practically we can model almost everything, beginning with a cube.
Pilou, c'est tres beau
But its not a cube. -

3D means = 3 times Double because a cube has 6 faces.

NPR Watercolor.

-
I tried again to build a cube, but now i'm really confused. I wonder what happened.

-
hmmm...
I may need to scale back my 'Model this' complexity, as clearly we are all still struggling with the basics.
-
My cube turned out inside-out, I'll post a picture when I get it right...
-
Another view - this time from the back.

-
After lot's of tutorials, I get this....

Gai.....PLEASE!!!!! share your blueprints!!

Man this is hard. .. .Still not gettin' it.
