Hi!
It looks like you could accomplish that with some twisting.
Take a look at the FredoScale plugin ( I think that the current version is 2.0h )
And what is this? ( I am just curious )

Here is my feeble first attempt, did not know all the dimensions so took some liberty and off cpourse does not exactly meet your pics. The approach used:

1. Drew ellipse for the bowl , 30x60 mm;
2. Used SoapSkin and Bubble ruby, free download, to create bowl surface. You can play with segments and pressure to control what you want;
3. Drew handle and intersected with bowl to get and intersection profile the used arc tool to get something looking close to what you want.

This should be a snap with the FFD plugin.

Tricky one.
FredoScale (bend option), as good is it is, won't help in this case.
FFF might work indeed, but I find its output unpredictable and in may cases doesn't work at all.
What Mac1 made using Soap Skin Bubble hardly resembles the thing haynesc is aiming for.

I am interested to see some more suggestions....

I knew it was not close! Thought the soapskin bubble plugin my help him

How about a little explaination how it was made. In my effort have had problems with the out of normal plane arcs to get the proper surface
