      Hi all

I'm working in Rotterdam from next Tuesday until Friday. What should I see, where should I buy beer etc, etc?

I'm going to look at flood resistant architecture and public realm spaces mainly but all suggestions will be considered as the nights are my own 😎

How 'bout the red light districts of Rotterdam 💚

AXXXTW :: Amsterdam Red Light District, Other Cities, Europe

In the Red Light Districts of Amsterdam you will find, on any given day, hundreds of girls offering sex for money. Nowhere else on earth are the women so straightforwardly on display, sitting sparingly attired on stools behind windows.

Thanks Pete but I'm pretty sure I can't put that on expenses.

There are many 'coffee shops' around that I'm sure one can request a non itemized bill, remember coffee shops and cafes are different, one sells only food and drinks (boring) 💚

Among other things i suggest you to visit the famous Piet Blom's houses, especially if it's still possible to visit an apartment. It's a freak experience. 😄

Yeah ... coffee shop first, then go take a peek a Blom's housing project. You'll swear it's art nouveau!

If you get a chance go to see the Euromast. It has great views on a clear day and you really get an understanding of the size of the Europort.

my advice: get a train to amsterdam. it only takes about an hour and you'll see the real bad boys of architecture! There's a fantastic art gallery in rotterdam with some amazing installations, cant remember the name. I know the red light district is seedy but if you wanna have a really good night, its the place to go, in amsterdam anyway. Dam square woth a visit too. There's an absolute wealth of beautiful buildings all over. Check out borneo island if you do end up in amsterdam...amazing housing scheme and its just a short bus journey from centraal station.

But apart from that, kick back, relax and spark up a fat one for me! 😎

and yes you gotta do the cofeeshops man its part of the experience!
