Has anyone had this problem with SU 7.1? I can't place a guideline precisely by typing in a number in the Measurements box. The guideline simply stays wherever I released the mouse to do the typing. Same thing happens when I try to draw a line to a precise length. I'm using a Mac PowerBook, running OS 10.4.1.1.
Any suggestions or advice? Or, better, a solution? I've tried reinstalling 7.1 twice. No change.
      Thanks,

I'm on an iMac 2.4/4850gpu and have no problem with mixing guides and precise dimensions.

David, Were you able to place guide lines prior to 7.1? If not, can you make a simple box, and then write what you do, step by step in order to place a guide line?

            Hi David,

It sounds like you're running into this issue:

            Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

            favicon

            (sketchup.google.com)

In SketchUp 7.1, there's a known issue where SketchUp will ignore input to the Measurements box when you click or tab into the box prior to typing.

            Cheers!

            Regards,
            SGT
