    Thanks Gaieus,
You confirmed my findings, I was hoping that I was wrong.
Question: How seriously does Google Consider the Sketchucation Wish Lists? Just curious.

Are you asking if we look? Sure. No promises, but we're always interested in suggestions.

Ross, that's a loaded answer. While Google looks here, there are many other considerations they have that we are not aware of, and it often appears that the things that are requested the most on this forum, can not be provided>_<

Well, to the extent that, there has been no solution for the animation bug, inability to fix the menus, support for high poly, etc. For myself, these are not issues, but aren't other fairly vocal about these things?

Certainly there are priorities but IMO they do try to satisfy their users as much as possible and the feedback comes from the different forums mainly. (Maybe some people can articulate their wishes more efficiently than others)

Maybe:-) We are back to the point I was trying to make, that they read request, but don't hold your breath. I am sure that they are working diligently, just that its impossible to anticipate how they judge, and react to any request.

I don't think that anyone asked them to drop support for "free" dxf, but I am sure that they did for good reasons. Btw, I own a little of their stock:-), and am always pleased when it goes up.

That's true. Hopefully however they will eventually fulfil all our wishes (me for instance; get dirty rich)

Haha! Now the only thing you should do is to become a director and tell them what to develop and what to drop!

You are kidding, yes?....... We want them to make money! If I took over, SU would be full featured, and free;-)

                      Hi,
is it possible to export a layout file to DXF or DWG? And if it is possible where could I find some tutorials?
                      thanks

As mentioned above, Layout writes pdfs. However, you can convert pdfs to dwg etc. All you need to do is google 'pdf dwg conversion' to see a long list of possibilities. I'd rather the SU guys spent effort on major benefits to the system than small jobs that can be done by external programs. Though I must admit that a few months back I wold have been very pleased to find the pdf imported into SU as lines and not an image....

I thought the Mac version of SU can do it - but only because the Mac system supports pdf a lot better way than Windows.

Of course it also depends on the pdf format (if it is in vector format and not raster).

Are you sure you cannot do it (I see you are on Mac) or was it just a raster based pdf?

Unfortunately SU only offers to import pdfs as image, texture or matched photo. Seems kinda dumb to not import as vectors but maybe it is difficult and not seen as worth the effort.
