A Welcome Message to New SketchUcation Members

Hi Rob and welcome!
Indeed you seem to have lost a lot not plunging into SU immediately when you saw it. but anyway, it's easy to catch up, I believe.
If you are a "handyman" around the house, you may even be interested in our dedicated "woodworking" subforum which is subscription based however so if you wish, you can sign up here to be able to see it when logged in, too.

Hi Gaieus thanks for the welcome, and the link to the woodworking page, will be very handy.I have just set up another monitor on my desk to make following the tutorials much easier (and enjoyable) by being able to see and do totally uninterrupted...
Cheers -
hi I am a new user of Su too.
I am very glad to hear someone really want to help. I really need help to solve the photo match technique. But we have problems to reach youtube videos from the server. Would you please send me the tutorials explaning photo match examples step by step. I will be vey grateful if you help me. -
Hi Mujde,
Have you been through the SU Guide about photomatch?

Hi - yet another new user here. I've been using SketchUp for a couple of years but not in any professional capacity - purely as an enthusiast. Most of what I've created is on the 3d Warehouse http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/search?viewer=12109198918404668208&scoring=p. I used to concentrate on models of movie props I was perhaps interested in building life-sized but I don't have much time to build prop replicas anymore so the Sketchup model is usually as far as I got. These days I build more practical models and help my friends of a technical bent get up to speed on SketchUp for various home-owner DIY projects. I did attend Base Camp at Google HQ last year and I learned so much there.
Regards - Martin -
Hi Martin and welcome, good to see you here. Thanks for joining. There is lots of great info around here (though I might be biased )

Hi,
I'm a "newbie" to sketchup. I took my first class today in Digital Lineaments, and it's looking to be very interesting. I just purchased my first Mac, so learning the OS X software and the correlating programs with my new class should be interesting to say the least. I'm sure I'll be back with questions as the semester progresses. lol

Welcome! This is a great place to find answers to questions you have and to find questions you didn't know you had.

Hello people, no questions ...yet! just introducing myself to the forums. I'm using SU since v4.0 but I know that never at the full program capacity so I'm expecting to learn a lot from here.

Hi Javier and welcome.
As an old user, you may in fact show US a couple of tips and tricks!
-
Hey all!
Im not really new to SU, but I'm new to these boards. Thought I would pop in and say hello. Maybe learn a few things, perhaps teach a few things.
