    i have a super slow GPU, and i was thinking of upgrading to a raedon 3450, i got a 250watt psu

    ANYWAYS..I made a great model, but the problem is that it 32mb, and my gpu is very laggy, what makes my model 32mb?? a few minuites it was 20mb..

      The most likely culprit is large textures. Where appropriate downsize your textures as much as possible.

      Its also well worth using components for repeating geometry, this will cut down the file size a fair bit.

        Hi Noen,

        Beside what Remus says, go to your Window (menu) > Model info > Statistics and at the bottom of the dialog, press the "Purge all" (or what) button. Save and see how big your model is now.

              holy fak, it went from 32mb to 6 mb..

                Purge means to "clean" (Latin "purgo"). Like the Purgatory where "kiddieboys" using nasty words (like f***ck) are being burnt while waiting for admission to Heavens. πŸ˜„
