VRAY HELP
-
Hi guys, it seems i have a problem with background in vray can anyone help me?
Here's the problem. I go to enveronment, i select the m in background, then i select bitmap and i insert the hdri image and i adjust the miltiplier in 20000. The problem is that instead of the image the only thing is that i see a brighter screen, but i don't see the image. I use vray for sketchup 6 and the multiplier i adjust is the one in the texture box.
Please help me. -
If you don't use physical camera, put 1 to the multiplier. But if you use it, increase it ,like 100-1000-10000. But anyway, multiplier is your problem.

I tried it and worked, but the only thing is that the image is not all of it shown, just a small part of her, how can make her all show up? How can i zoom out and make the hole image appear in the background guys?

After you select "bitmap" in the right side, under UVW section, you need to choose "environment" not "texture", and then, as mapping, choose "spherical" or "angular", but that depends of the hdri type that you have. Cold be spherical map or light-probe.
You could also upload the image(rendering) that you have, because I'm not sure what you are trying to do with the hdri. -
I am pretty sure your image is applied as like a dome and wrapped around it. So you will only see parts of it depending upon your viewing angle. If you turn your view around you will start to see different parts of it. If you want to see the entire image...save your final rendering as a .png file and that will give it a transparent background and then you can add your sky in photoshop or something. Hope this helped.

Ahh i see, you are right. Is there any way to find images that aren't like a dome, so that they can be seen entirely?, or can i fix that image and remove that dome feature?

save yur file in png with both diffuse and alpha. then use photoshop to insert your backgroudn instead,

Could you please upload the scene, so we can have a better look? I don't need the hdri you used, because your settings will be saved anyway, and I cold use one of mine.

It's ok guys, i got it figured out. I'm going to render the image without a background and then insert the background in the render with photoshop. Thank you all for your help, anyway!!!
