Help: Any good Array Script?
-
hi,
The attached screenshot shows multiply (array) options from Archicad. Is there any ruby available to do the similar? (beside key sequence)
thanks

SU already has basic arrays built in to the move and rotate tools:
Move/rotate a copy of the thing you want to array, type 'x5' in to the VCB and you'll get 5 equally spaced/rotated copies. If you type '/5' the distance between the original and the copy will be filled with 5 equally spaced copies.
I dont know of any rubys that expand on this, though.
Could you explain what the options in the archicad dialogue let you do?

Grow by TIG have that and many more

Thanks guys. that's helpful.
I also find another array tool, called SCF power bar. it does array along path at defined spacing and array on selected nodes.

Dear Pilou,
I note that your screenshot of the Grow dialogue box is different from mine. Is this a latter version, and if so, from where did you download the script? I am using version 2.1.
