that just for having the data stocked ,but what hardware would u need to access them all at once(a building wouldn t be enough) in our days an usb port will be enough

My network includes one ancient pc with both floppy drives. Haven't gone to it in perhaps a year, but you know how that works, as soon as you throw it out, you will find a need for it:-)
Btw, my current 4G. usb is about 1"X3/8"X1/8". It is my second, I lost the first getting change out of my pocket:-)

I still remember "nifty little applications" which could split bigger files (like even movies) into smaller ones to fit on these 1.44" floppies and then stitch them back together.
Then who remembers those "ZIP drives" that could even contain 100 Mb of data? (That would be quite a lot compared to my first PC running Windows 3.11 - I think - which had a 850 Mb HD)

Ah, Floppy Disks.
Who remembers Wing Commander on about 6 disks? Or The Secret of Monkey Island? Man those were busy disk swapping days. Here's my life by PC or Console

Commodore 64 ( Legendary Machine, Last Ninja anyone? )
Commodore Amiga ( End of an era )

Snes ( Zelda rules )
Alot of drunken years with no need for wasting money on toys, or so i thought!!
PS1 then PS2 then PSP and PS3 ( I love gadgets )
Numerous PCs but always go back to Dells for some reason?
Currently use Dell Dimension Desktop and Dell Latitude Laptop
Oh and of course my jailbroken iPhone

I remember when i started computing with a Texas TI 99 in 1981. The Memory was 16 kB and as an external storage a tape recorder was used.

I have written a few 'demos' for that machine... Those times... I sometimes download the emulator on PC with a lot of old games

Actually I have had a Timex 2048 48kb, later extended to 80kb and finally to 128kb.I was using a tape recorder which was allowing to write ca. 300kb on each side of 60min tape
, which gives 600kb per tape and stunning transfer of ca 170 bytes per second
