Curve Problem in Sketchup
-
Whenever i Make any curve or a circle in sketchup it does not give me a clean curve. In case of a circle it actually draws a 25 sided polygon. This is a great pain which is actually pulling me away from such a beautiful software.. please help...

Unfortunately this is an inherent limitation of the way SU treats geometry.
To sum it up, SU treats everything as a series of straight edges and flat faces between those edges. Thus you can not have truly curved surfaces/edges in SU, just close approximations.
What you can do, however, is increases the number of edges used to make up the circle, thus making it more circular (or a better approximation to a circle, to be entirely accurate.) You can do this by selecting the circle tool, then typing in the number of edges you want and pressing return.
As a rough guide, 24 is a god base line number of edges, 48 for medium stuff and 96+ when you need high accuracy.

What are the operations with circles that cause you problems?
I mean, what do you want to do and you can´t due to this sketchup limitation? -
The problem is even when I am rendering my model.. using 'hypershot' for example.. the curved plane comes out still decent.. i can still see the faceted edges.. I have tried using the polygon tool and making a 60 sided polygon which looks a lot better than the circle itself.. but that isnt the point..

right click on the circle and select 'entity info'
if it's a circle or an arc, you'll see a line titled 'segments'.. you can change the amount of segments from there..beware though that you can easily slow sketchup down by adding too many segments (and faces if you extrude said curve)..
you can make the circle have up to 10,000 segments but after ~800, you won't notice a difference..
i wouldn't worry about it too much unless the circle is a very major part of the rendering.. -
And it slows the model down quickly if you star making circles that detailed.
This is not a SU problem, but something that many 3d modelers do the same way. You'll find that even 3dmax and Maya work the same way.
