Unknown error loading SketchUp

Around two weeks ago, I started getting this load error. Moreover, I hadn’t loaded any new scripts at that time.
"Error Loading File date.rb
uninitialized constant DateTime"Not sure, what script is causing this. Tried looking for a Date.rb. So far I have not found a script called "date.rb", that I believe is to used with SketchUp.
Anyone know what is causing this error?

Are you on Vista? There is a good chance the script is hiding in your "Compatibility Files" folder. To find that, navigate to your sketchup plugins folder. In the top menu bar there should be a button for compatibility files. Click on it and it will take you to a special place that holds files and folders that are supposed to be in the plugins folder. Check to see if date.rb is in there. If it is, probably just delete it.

And you've looked through the plugins folder and there is no date.rb?
It could be that a different script is trying to load that file. Try removing your plugins in some methodical method until the error message goes away until you can figure out which script seems to be causing the error.

You need to search for 'date.rb' inside the files - not just the file names.
Unfortunately if the script is encoded then you might not find the file and then you will need to do the "50%" test.
50% of the Plugins folder files [.rb/.rbs etc] are moved to temp-folder1, then test SUp - if SUp loads OK swap files in temp-folder1 with fault-containing others in Plugins, re-test SUp - should fail - now move 50% of Plugins to temp-folder2 and re-test - if OK the faulty-file is in the temp-folder2: move Plugins files to temp-folder1 and move half of temp-folder2 into Plugins and repeat test: if NOT OK fault lies in plugins, then you move temp-folder2 contents to temp-folder1 and half of Plugins to temp-folder2 and re-test... This way you half/half/half... the tested files and quickly hone in on the faulty one - even if you can't read its contents you ten have a clue which file is causing the error...

Well I loaded and unloaded scripts until the date error disappeared. However, right now I forget what script was the cause. I know that does not help much. I remember that I could not find out what the offending script did. I will look into my old scripts directory when I get home to see if I can find the offending script. Should be home by middle of June.
One thing I did learn, that removing a script might make the problem go away, however, reloading the script may not bring back the problem.
Right now, I am having problems with and error on components making, I have went though all my scripts, and found that a section of five scripts may remove the problem, note, it doesn't seem to be the same 5 scripts, but removing each one of the five will not give the same results, in other words make the problem go away. It is hard to track down an offending script. Right now, I need to get something done, so I just make sure I make the entry into a group before I make it into a component. My work around this problem.
