Ocean Modelling?

Anyone know how the new extension in the last update works? The ocean modelling plugin?
I see it in the list of extensions, when I enable it it appear in the plugin menu which I can tick, but then what..? -
That's for modelling things for GE under sea level. Not sure how useful this will be (so far at least although with global warming and the sea level rising thus lots of current land getting underwater you never know).
Basically what you need to do is to turn off ocean surface in GE, take the snapshot and play around with the new modelling tool. GE 5 (with this new feature) was out earlier than this release and I tried with the older SU 7 version but do not have much experience with it.

Worth? It's free... not sure what you mean... It addresses a bunch of crashes and other issues, so; yes.

"Worth" meaning worth the hassle if it doesn't resolve much. Sometimes upgrades mean more bugs ( I won't mention any (Vista) names tho)

As I read, there was some serious error with dxf imports on Mac so Mac user definitely should upgrade. Also some text issues (PC) in LO were fixed.
