Can you render a section plane?

Does anyone know if you can render a section plane in sketchup? When I rendered my model with section plane it just rendered the model as normal from that angle.

You cant render a normal section plane, but if you download whaats zorro2 plugin, there is an option to cut the model at the section plane. You can then render it properly.

To get to the option you right click on the section plane.

Some rendering apps, like ArtLantis, have their own sectioning tools.

When asking rendering questions it'd make it a lot easier to answer if you mention which render engine you use...
