Yes, if things are failing, we want to try to fix them.
I just downloaded a new copy and tried copy and mirror and they worked for me. (But there are lots of possible differences depending on your model and what you have selected)
Start a new model, place a single face, select it, and try copy and mirror. Do they still fail.
If they only fail sometimes - try to give us more information on what you have selected when they failed. If you can create a small .skp model which fails, send it to us and let us know what was selected.
If it fails all the time (all models, all selections), we are going to have to work harder to try to see why it is failing.
Thanks,
Al

I'm an Apple user,,,, iMac 24" OSX 10.4. Any possibilities of getting "RpEdits" for a Mac?

We purchased a Mac to get started on Mac versions - but we still have a lot to learn, and a long, long, way to go.

Al, thanks for your plugin.
I did some tests and seems to work in general.
For unknown reasons I've got some Bugsplat when closing SU6.
What's the procedure to remove this tool in a clean way ?
Thanks -
If you want to remove it temporarily, remove RpEdits_loader.rb from your SketchUp\plugins folder or use the install script to uninstall it.
RpEdits shares some files in c:\program Files\Render Plus Systems\RpTools.
If you are completely done with both RpEdits and RpTools, you can remove that folder as well.
If you ever want either of them back, you can just reinstall the one desired.

I need to know whether it fails all the time, or just sometimes.
Also, open the SketchUp Ruby Console before loading or running RpEdits. It may give us a clue as to what is going wrong.
Thanks,
Al

Al, thanks for your clear explanations.
I continue to use your tool and I'll see if the problems I mentioned appear again.
RpEdits is really a nice collection of tools.
What I appreciate the +++ is the stretch tool.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas !Thanks,
I hope you noticed that when the move, stretch, or rotate wizard has focus (just click on the title), then you can use the arrow keys (and shift up/down for Z) to nudge the item to the location or size desired.
We can also map the arrow keys when SketchUp has focus to do the same. But we weren't sure if it was worth it - since it works well if you give the Edit Wizard focus - and because some people may already have the arrow keys mapped to something else in SketchUp.
readers - What do you think?
(added later: Oops! When I read the +++ in your message, I thought you meant hitting the arrows repeatedly to perform the operations more than once. But I see now you meant "the most". Still, it is good to let readers know that they can use the keyboard arrows and small increments to "nudge" items as desired.)
-
Effectively I meant "the most" sorry for that

Al, is it possible to have the UnDo command in the Stretch Selection Tool as in some others ?

I'll give it a shot. That would be good for the tab which stretches to specific sizes because it could re-read and re-display the dimensions after the undo of any size change.

That's exactly the main reason why I ask for.
Would be great if you can. -

Mr. Hart
Well I found the problem. I had an old out of date Rp_Tools installed. When I remove this script the Rp_edit script worked great.
Note I PM you a couple of video files showing how the program worked before I discovered what the problem was. So please disregard these video files.
Thanks for the great script.
