Component Window...No Back & Forward Arrows V.7
-
Has anyone else noticed that version 7's component window does not have Back & Forward arrows, drives me crazy. Styles & Material windows do have the arrows. Frustrating!
-
I also noticed this because I used them all the time... its not that big of a deal but it does take more time moving through the components window now...
-
I also used them all the time. It's not a huge deal to adjust to, but it's also not a huge deal to leave them. Oh well!
-
Yes it gone but the pull down has the history of all opened components folders so I guess it's just a different way to navigate, but I do miss the back button as well.
-
Hey Phil, I did notice the history in the pull-down and so have started using that. It's always interesting to happen upon the little things that change when a software program has released a new version.
-
Yes. I miss them too. I can't find any way to step back once now.

-
It's now a 2 step process to navigate back rather than a single click and a bit annoying if you have multiple folders you've created. It's like missing the back button on IE.
-
I hate the new component "browser", all Google and no common sense; it's utterly regressive.
-
How about the free one by RPS that is in space design- called select component does that help http://wiki.renderplus.com/?title=Space_Design, its now part of the rpstools download but it keeps working after trial period.

I tend to use XnView a lot lately.

XnView read .skp files?
-
I do NOT like the new component browser...bring back the back arrow.

Well it produces an image representation of the model file, my guess is it reads the image embedded in the file [by SketchUp] and not the geometry itself. So, in short, yes it does, but it's a qualified statement.
