[HELP]Delet all textures with a plugin,quickly
-
thanks a lot
-
glad to help.
-
it is useful, all the textures of the models are deleted.
But look here, how to delet them in "Materials" quickly. I am trying to render with "vray for sketchup'.
vray can work fast with none uselessly textures. So is there the plugin?
-
in the materials window, find the "list" dropdown in the lower right-ish corner of the window.
Hit "list" and choose "purge unused"
That should do it.
-
here you go.
This is a free plugin made available by the Smustard.com guys, for whom we are all grateful.
-
a very useful script. thanks a lot for pointing out, Chuck.

If you want to render a scene with only one material you can use the "Override materials" checkbox in the Global Switches section of V-Ray's option.

My 'GlobalMaterialChange' script can 'default' all materials in a selection or model...

yeah,it's great.

It 'd be great if the Globalmaterialchanger.rb plugin would allow right-clicking in the material browser and provide the option: "Delete (this material) and change to:..."
I spent hours yesterday of tedious deleting and repainting in a complex model.
