yes, me too, I really like the style and the colours of your pictures ....

Well done Gian, great work, good enough to hang on the wall .
They look to me to be mostly SketchUp with some PS enhancements?
Please explain your process, it would be much appreciated.Mike

Gian - I'm a big fan too. I find them very inspiring and am so glad you posted them.
If I could be so bold as to make a suggestion...
I'm thinking the images would look even better if you adjusted the levels of the final images so the 'whites' are whiter. It is looking a bit muddy and I think brighter whites would give it a bit more graphic punch. I attach a quick adjustment for comparison.Regards, Ross

Thank you very much for all your comments and I am glad that you liked it...
The process is actually similar to Grant Marshall's technique I've just erased the edges of the images to make it look more hand drawn.
Thanks Ross for the post work, yeah my image looks very glooomy....
Thanks to all,
gian

Gian,
I'm having trouble finding the Grant Marshall Tutorial/Technique... I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I tried to google it and the link that looks like it would take me there says that it has been taken down. Any ideas?Edit: Never mind...found it!

Thanks a lot -
Hi David,
I found this thread (migrated to the GGroups) - 290 posts in it - happy browsing!
Edit: Then I found this (link posted by Ross in the old forum).
I think even without pictures it may be useful. -
you can try it here
this is under the name "Dennis Technique". as far as I know Marshall developed it further...
[Edit] just saw, that Marshall has written some comments in this file...[]

Giant Gian,
Jack bird yeah... I'm into this...
I'm wondering about adding some powerlines in the first two images...
I think it might ad a bit of real world coolness...
Or some black birds...
Jack bird Black Birds...
Not a cow, however, I'm thinking that's a bit to rural...

Thank you very much for all your comments, Thanks to Gaieus and plot-paris for posting the link to Grant Marshall's technique..
I've just follow the instruction in Grant's technique then I've added some of mine to it, it's not perfect though and the technique has a lot of room for improvements but very effective in terms of presentation ....
I'll post some more when I got something...
Thanks,
gian

I have made some few adjusment with drawings and also with the effect, so here are the images....

Gian, I like these very much too! Though not better than the first: which have an atmosphere that feels "forest"..."before the mist of morning clears". These to me feel "suburban" instead..."time for work soon secluded sub-division". (I suppose they do sell the architecture better :`)
A mix may please me both.
