      is it possible to import a dashed or dotted line from autocad into sketchup? (like white lines on the road, if u know what i mean)

        not AFAIK, you'll have to draw them manually again (or use components).

        Save the Earth, it's the only planet with chocolate.

            If you created a component from you line segmant, you could then just copy it as many times as you like quite quickly or copy along a path. Drawing a dashed line in SU manually could prove time consuming.
            A lot depends on what you require the line for, such as road markings, or just to show a hidden line etc.
