Just a question, it is very complicated to implement the ability to clone / copy clips in Animator and make them unique in the sense of "deep copy". I mean, basicaly, recursively coping / cloning sequences inside the clip and grouping them under the new name. From my point of view, it will make the workflow even more efficient and will help to structure rather long and repertive animations or serve as a template.

[Animator] clone and modify the clip is quite essential
Thanks for very good application. I am quite new to it, not sure if I am using it 100% correctly. My plan was to create one Clip (set of animation sequences) for a group of objects. Then copy this clip and shift in time, make it unique and apply to set of new similar elements. For new elements I tried both groups of elements and component of component which are copied from original and made unique. However, after coping clip, making it unique editing and saving the clip both clips are applied to the new set of objects (to say so instead of moving once I move object twice). Not sure if I do everything correctly to make the Clip to be unique. At the forum I read that clip cannot be unique, but sequence instead can.
For me opportunity to clone and modify the clip is quite essential since I have to make movie of 10-15 similar but shifted in time operations.
I tried different options to copy+make unique sequences or “clone them”. It works for apparition but does not works for “PATH”. It looks like clone sequence object still remembers the old path or origin from original sequence. If I just copy and make unique sequence, then I guess both sequences apply to the last object.
