    • Newb cut a complex object question.

I'm new to SU, but pretty experienced with autocad 3d and I'm struggling with what would be an easy task fro me in acad. I'm betting it's easy in SU too, I'm just not getting it.

I've got a model I d/l'ed from 3Dwarehouse of a palette rack shelving. It's composed of a couple different components, I'm concerned with the blue uprights. You can find the model here:
      http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=8975defb5a95ea622d745eb0c717dc0&prevstart=0

I need to modify the height of these blue uprights to 10' rather than the 12' they currently are. In autocad I'd probably make a box that contained the 2' i want to get rid of and use the boolean subtract command. i don't have Pro so apparently that's not an option for me.

Any help or tips would be very appreciated.

      Thanks
