What would you think of this simple one? This is not official, just a thought. Is it interesting enough?
VR Brutalist Challenge 01 Rules:
Make a sculpture in a brutalist style that is:
Collaborative Challenges - little projects that Sketchup artists do together to form a larger interesting exhibit or display. Do these happen these days?
Hey all, I thought I'd post some images of VR worlds I've made with Sketchup 2017 in the past few years. The workflow begins with sketchup, and then the piece is usually loaded into another program (ie. blender or unity or the particular vr platforms intermediate software) for lighting. I'll indicate the workflow for each screenshot.
Here are the workflows for each platform that I usually use:
MOZILLA HUBS: Sketchup 2017 - Blender for Baked Lighting usually and also for glb export - Spoke (which is Hubs intermediate software) for placing and sometimes for procedural lighting render instead of Blender light baking - Hubs.
SANSAR: Sketchup 2017 - Blender for file type export - Sansar, which uses it's own procedural lighting render.
ALTSPACE: Sketchup 2017 - Unity for placement and lighting - Altspace
