Is there a way to flow a 2D sketch along the surface of a 3D compound curve in Sketchup? Rhino has a Flow Along Surface feature that does this, and the Wrap feature accomplishes the same thing in Solidworks, but I haven’t been able to apply a 2D sketch to a 3D surface in Sketchup. I made a jpeg of the sketch and then mapped the photo texture to the curved surface, and then traced the mapped photo with Tools on Surface to get an active sketch on the compound curved surface, but that was very laborious. I also tried projection plug-ins and the drape feature (sandbox), but they only projected from a certain point of view and didn’t evenly distribute the image along the compound surface. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could try? If I haven't been clear in what I'm trying to do, to follow is a youtube link to a Rhino Flow Along Surface tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiFFRbyV0DU). At the end of this quick tutorial 3D objects are flowed along a surface. I'm only trying to flow 2D objects in Sketchup, but the principle should be the same. Thanks for your help.

Flow 2D Sketch Along Compound Curved Surface???
