I am new to use of Sketchup. I have seen a video using one photo for one side of a building. Is it possible to use different photos for all sides of the building and shots of the roof. Then build a model from those photos? All of that without using some 3d photomodelling package?
Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know where to find some good information on how to use photomatch this way?

I believe that's what the Texmesh software does, although I haven't actually tried it. He does seem to get some very good results. I don't know how it compares to Imodeller or 3DSOM
Hi All,
I saw your post about Imodeller. I am looking for a lower cost version of this type of software. I have been looking at Photomodeler at 1000-2600 us dollars depending on the version.
I would like to be able to take photos of a house and then build a 3d model in Sketchup so I can get roof dimensions and area measurements without climbing up on the roof. Have any of you got any ideas? Thanks.
