    • RE: Ski lodge (WIP)

      Thanks for all the comments.

The overall feel is not to be realistic, I followed the customer requests...it's a marketing tool.

I know that lights should be less intense...but then again it's a client request....

As for the log being too shiny, I know that I would have to level them down in Photoshop where I added all the lights.

The texture used for the columns is the same as for the chimney, It's the customer request...I know it should'nt be the same but he's the one who will write my check so... 😉

As for the chimney being a huge snow trap.....I did realised that. I didn't make the design of this model (I sketchup it from a CAD drawing already made by another person)...

      Cheers

    • RE: Day And Night :::

      Hi,

Beautifull renders!!!...I mean...WOW!!!...., may I ask what do you render and what do you add in post processing??? Basically your workflow of adding elements....I've read that you added car in Vray but what about people trees, lights...etc...and lastlly, how much time it took for complete a single picture??? (workflow time if you prefer...)

Thanks in advance. Again, very great renders.

Thanks guys for these quick response!!!

....the FOV is at 60 degree, that's why it look that way....I'm working with 2d trees right now and by applying transluscent material, I think it may do the trick.

      Here's what I'm aiming for --> http://www.wilmington-architect.com/BEACH%20HOUSE%20STYLE-6.htm ....I'll post some update views soon....thanks again

    • First real project...that I want to improve... (updated)!!!

      Hi guys,
first of all, I would like to think everyone who contribute to this forum and most of all the administrators. I come here every day and I've learn a lot from you guys 😄 ....

Here's my project that I made using Autocad and Sketchup. For my cover sheet, I'm using this front elevation but I'm not entirely satisfied with it.....for instance I want to add some bushes in the front to hide both side of the front stair and also a treeline in the back but since this presentation is in hidden line mode , no texture will work....do you have any tips and tricks to achieve this???......and anyone know a way to apply hatch pattern or a technique to achieve the same effect as hatching???

Any comments and critics are welcome....thanks in advance

      Rick

    • RE: Another House.

      Beautiful!!!

That's exactly what I'm aiming for and I will do it someday!!!.

How much time did it take to design this??? Is the interior complete as well??? Right now it is faster for me to design a house using Chief Architect with Autocad but I want to use Sketchup because it's more user friendly and it can deliver beautiful rendering with 3rd party software.

      Again, excellent work!!!

      Cheers

    • RE: Écran panoramique de 24"

      Bonjour,

      Bon magasinage!!!!
