RE: Req: challenge, wooden beam with ropes
Hello Frank, welcome to the forum. Instead of modeling the rope as you have, use a texture instead.
Use TIG's Pipe Along Path ruby to model the rope.

RE: Fun with Twilight render
Hello Majid, the water looks much better , but there is still a couple of things IMHO that need a little tweaking.
Richard would shout Verticals the Villa appears to be falling backwards!
Secondly there is nothing to give the viewer a sense of scale/perspective. The viewers eye is drawn to the blocks on the right of the image, which in turn makes the house appear small. The texture sizes are conflicting.Hope this doesn't come across as harsh criticism, it's not meant that way.

RE: Fun with Twilight render
Hello Majid, IMHO there's something wrong with the pool water, it looks iced over, maybe increase the bump/displacement?

RE: Hampton Court Palace
Hello Simon, now your cooking! Lovely set of images, can't decide which I prefer most.
Makes me want to start modeling the Great British buildings again (windsor Castle for Daniel ).
Something special about the old British architecture IMHO.John

RE: German command tank Kl PzBfWg I
Certainly, feel free. No need to credit me it was all your hard work that created a great model.

RE: Urban Living
Hello Jason, nice clean renders (as always) . IMHO some of the people are slightly out of scale, maybe my tired eyes though

RE: Opel Blitz Truck
Hello Lengyel, great modelling, love it.
I think the dirt texture and lack of reflective glass give it the appearance of being a "model". The dirt texture seems to be a little out of perspective, it's too large and uniform. Here's a recent tank I modeled, textures are all done in SU and PS3.John

RE: 1899 La Jamais Contente (The Never Satisfied)
Steve, Grrrr Brilliant. It's great to view a series of models with a theme (one off/only one), I would love to see all these compiled into a book.
When you take the plunge into rendering, I'm retiring.
