Okay, only additional thing that now shows up in the plugins dropdown is Chris Fulmers shape bender (which I can't seem to get to work, probably me). Neither angle_between.rb, or plane_angle.rb show up anywhere.
Sorry guys, but I do appreciate the help.

Thanks guys, TIG: I just noticed that. I just thought that I would put that question on another thread in case you didn't get back to the other one.
I am going to try it now.
      Thanks again.

P.s. 3Skeng does not have a free version, according to an email I just received back.

    • Downloaded Plugins not showing up in SU

I have an error that comes up at the startup of SU, also have downloaded several plugins to the plugins folder that are not appearing anywhere.
Ok, the ones that I have installed are PipeAlongPath, TubeAlongPath, something that shows up in the plugins dropdown menu "convert arcs, circles, curves, lines to cylinders".
There are some that I downloaded to the plugins folder that are not showing up anywhere, not even the tools menu.
First of all, when I start SU, I get an error on the screen that states "Error loading file: cfl_shape_bender_loader.rb, No such file to load progressbar.rb

Also in my SU plugins file I downloaded the following plugins that showup nowhere, why?
      angle_between.rb
      plane_angle.rb
      df_shape_bender_loader.rd and it's program.

    • What Tools (.rb) needed for bicycle building

Not sure where to even begin trying to build a recumbent bicycle in SketchUp. Have been looking at all the plugins, but don't really see much to do with pipe or tubing that would benefit me. I am very new to this and have looked at 3DWarehouse at some of the bikes, and don't know where to even start. Don't know how to make curves or corners or anything. Just straight lines. Have fooled with all week and like the program. Where do I begin. Help appreciated.

    • RE: New Material files

You just have to go to the link I sent you, and go through each page to pick out what you want. That's all I did. Those are the only bike parts that I've found.

Yes, here is the link that I got my bike parts from. If you know of any please let me know. Or if you know of any recumbent designs, let me know also.

    • RE: New Material files

Yes they are all SKP files, and I downloaded them from Warehouse site, and into the material folder in SketchUp. So you are saying that I should creat a sub folder in the "components" folder, (example - BikeParts), and put all the files in there?

Is this a program that will work good for me to create/design recumbent bike frames, or is this primarily for architechture?

If anyone knows of some sites that may have more bike parts, please let me know.
      Thanks

    • New Material files

I downloaded a bunch of files for bike parts, and put them in the material folder for sketchup. I made a new folder called Bike Parts, but none of the files show up when I start the program, and select Bike Parts, in "Material". Am I doing something wrong in the way of getting them into the program? What is the proper procedure? I mainly want to use the program to design recumbent bikes, and that is what I downloaded bike parts for, so I could design and assemble a bike on this program. Please help if I am doing something wrong, getting frustrated.
And if you could direct me to other sites that would possibly have other bike parts, that would be appreciated.
      Thanks
      Steve
