I liked a lot this plugin, until I had a bugsplat, and my autosave didn't store the original models of the proxy cubes.

RE: Animator and VRay
Hi Fredo, thanks for your answer.
I updated the Lib and Plugin to latest versions, still had to do some work to set things up, but managet to get a full frame rendering using Timed progressive and 45fps (With 30fps was still missing some frames). Rendering with BF + LC at 1080x1080, only with sun and camera transition based on SU Scenes.
This is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFEP59sEp9I Only problem now was the camera shaking, any way to rework that?
On a side note: I was using a very far Omnilight to do a 360° "FakeSun" rotation with it, along with a HDRI on a Domelight. It worked, but once I set the path for the "FakeSun" Omnilight, all the scene got clipped, Couldn't recover it back, had to build it on a new file w/o the "FakeSun"

RE: Animator: Parametric Animation plugin - Discussion
Fredo6. I love your work. I'd like to share three things about the plugin related to Vray.
First, Animator doesn't work well with Vray Safe frame. When Vray Safe Frame is activated, Animator changes the viewport rendering. My Workaround is setting the SU Scenes with Vray Safe Frame, deactivate Safe Frame, create the Animator Cameras based on the SU Scenes, and then do the animation rendering with the Pre-rendering settings (Rendering size and proportion).
Second, Sometimes Animator sends a new render before the last one is properly saved, CPU has released the job, and ram is cleared. With Bucket rendering I just got 86 out of 301 frames. They were rendered but not saved. Now, using Progressive, I got frames 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14... a bit better, but still an issue. Only workaround I found is activating Vray History Rendering, and recover the lost frames from that list. (It's not nice, however, to check on 300 frames, and save them 1 by 1)
Third, Animator apparently creates some instances that causes clipping. I was doing a 360° Light rotation (FakeSun, which was several kilometers away) And it inmediatly clipped my whole scene. I tried everything but the clipping remained beyond, basically, whole file wipeout (scenes, layers, models, etc.). Had to copy/paste to a new file and leave the sun for the final step, knowing there was nothing I could do on the model after that.

RE: Animator and VRay
Hello! New on this forum. I'm not sure if this is the place to post this problem, but here it goes.
I had a problem with Animator and Vray rendering. I set the animation to last 10s, at 30fps. Left it to render for 8 hours overnight, but I ended up with only 86 out of 300 frames on the render folder. It skipped 3 out of 4 frames (names goes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16...). I configured Vray to save the output renders in another folder, but they weren't saved.
I'm not sure if the missing frames were rendered and not saved, or not rendered at all.

RE: Animator and Rendering Software (for developers)
The Vray compatibility can be 'worked around' if you have a lot of patience. You can make all the animation in Animator, then move frame by frame adding a new SketchUp Scene, and adjust fix the SketchUp scene transition duration to match the frame duration. You'll get 20-30 scenes per animation second, but at least it will work.
Fredo, is there a way to add a Frame-To-Scene action to transform (in an one-way direction) the frames with the elements positions into SketchUp Scenes in order to use them as Frames for vRay?
