      Thanks for the reply Dave. Shame there is no way of doing this. It's a simple one and really handy if you know your going to be working for a bit with a particular material over several objects, rather than going round after with the pain bucket.

    • Selecting colour first the drawing object

      Im quite new to sketchup having used FormZ for quite a while. One thing I can't work out if its possible to do in sketchup is; selecting a colour or material as an active material first, then when I create my object, that object will take on the active material? Like if I draw a window frame I know I want to use my window frame material when creating my frame rather than having to use the default material and then using the paint bucket to colour my objects after?
