I can edit the dimensions in the box, but when entering Return it does not do anything to the rectangle or line (as it did in the previous versions)

After upgrading to 2013, entering dimensions in the Dimensions box does not seem to work!
Anyone out there with the same experience (and a fix, please!) ??
