Thats always been my solution too. I really like setting up 2 scenes pretty close to one another and put a long transition time on them. So over like 15 seconds the camera only moves a little bit. Then make of few of these slow panning/zooming/FOV Changing scenes. Take them into a movie editor and do a crossfade on them. Makes for some really nice, upscale feeling, video work.

Are you sure it's not "AVIFIL32.dll" that's missing?

On my Windows XP installation (on PC) I have an "AVIFIL32.dll" but no "AVIFLI32.dll"

A Google search of each filename shows very few hits for your quoted filename, while "AVIFIL32.dll" results in MANY hits.

I must say that I have had lots of joy with the 8800 GTX's, I have them in all but my Mac and must say the performance is excellent. I would suggest the Nvidia brand for now (and until the whole AMD and ATI thing settles down and a stable product is released)
