If I understand you correctly I will say no.
The lamp I modeled in SU and rendered in vray. I posted an image in my previous post of the rendered trigon lamp. It's LED lamp with LED characteristics. Then in Vray I assigned a LED 5000K and adjusted (orange tube). The outside is glass material that I adjsuted to make it look like polyethylene material. Here is aan image of a model.

First image is an og picture from Pixabay, I removed all the lights in the ceiling since they were in my way. Second image as you can see is a close up of the lamp (straight out of the vray).

Good eye Rich, there is slight tilt to the og picture. Did not bother to fixing it as there was no time.
I did not edit the vray rendered image at all, straight out of vray.
I only used "curves" to darken the og picture in gimp and that's it. There was no time for artistic flare on this one.

Did a quick rendering of our trigon lamp using photomatch. I did not make reflections as I did not have time as this was only done for a review for our boss.
