      Hi ๐Ÿ˜„

This ruby tool can do intersect, union, cut, trim and split with both groups & components.

This is beta really, it is important to save your work before using the tool.
Here is the New improved OSCoolean (Dec 2013) !

I know that there is boolean function in SU 8 Pro, but not SU 8+ free version.
There are great improvement in SU 8, so I use the SU 8 feature to write a new OSCoolean for SU 8 and up.
Again, it is a beta version, it is important to save your work before using the tool.
This time, OSCoolean has a toolbar for selecting 2 groups, speed improved and more stable.

      Dec 2013 version

      • Components feature added.
      • Unneeded dialog removed.

      Oct version

      • Trim & split feature added.
      • Language file added.
      • Chinese language. (open the file OSC_Language.lag in the Oscar folder with Notepad, then change the Lang=1 to Lang=2)

      This is a great ruby.

      Dear Oscarlok,

If I remember correctly, you were working on a method of editing dimensions. Have you completed that plugin, and could it be modified to include parametric dimensioning? For example, you might want one dimension to be equal to another, so that changing one changes both.

      Kind regards,
      Bob

      Hi Bob,
The script is half way done! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Actually, it is a part of the script of OSCarcase.rb
And I am doing my old script(OSCarcase.rb) now.

Have you thought about programming platform independent? Maybe the roo library could help. Because it also can handle OpenOffice documents.

Thanks Azuby & TIG ! The library is useful for me.

By the way, the 29/7/08 ver. is out. We can call this script from the "Draw menu->Oscar->ex2sk" or the "ex2sk" button from the toolbar. This script will read the data of the excel file & draw boxes according to the qty, depth, width, height or Area from the data, then organized those boxes under their groups respectively!

Anybody found this script is useful, please? ๐Ÿ˜’

you have 2 different fantastic tools going here now. ๐Ÿ˜†

I think you will need to also attach your ruby that builds using your excel spreadsheet so people can test/understand/give feedback. ๐Ÿ˜‰

%(#BF4040)[actually using the .rbs file you had me test, I am unable to open the "Universal Format.xls" because after I gave it the location of the previous test file, that's all it will use.

So I am anxiously awaiting your script to test.]
