You should be able to use the Drape function in the Sandbox Tools to apply your lines to the Google Earth terrain. Once the lines are draped you can modify the terrain to make it more accurate according to your survey. Curbs and planters should be modeled, not sculpted out of the terrain. Others here will have ideas I am sure.

My workaround has been to do the SAVEAS, and then in the copied file delete, not hide, absoulutely everything that wont' appear in the 2d section cut. It's a bit of a bear, but at least I don't have to redraw in ACAD, right?
