Thanks for the reply. I tried a free trial download of Smartdraw and had a floorplan in no time. It just isn't very intuitive in Sketchup. At least not for me??

I was told that sketchup could be used to generate two dimensional floor plans. My limited review of Sketchup to this point does not seem to support that feedback. I am also curious about the ability to click and drag such things into a floor plan such as furniture and appliances.
