This is an interesting field and one that will play a huge part in presentation in the future. Have a look at the DeskTop Factory for $4995, not yet available
but taking orders. The output is rough but the price is okay and they plan to bring it sub $1000.
ZCorp produce some better quality 3D printers ranging in price from $20 - 50K

The Desktop Factory 3D printer, which has a list price of $4,995, uses an inexpensive halogen light source and drum printing technology to build robust parts layer by layer from composite plastic powder.
The cost of the build material is expected to be about $1 per cubic inch.

The other way forward for Architectural presentation might be holograms and 3D screens ? There are quite a few companies forging ahead in these fields also.
Interesting times ahead

Hi folks.
Watch you head when going in or out of the back seat, the roof drops quite sharply at the back.
Just ideas.
You are probably right Jean but again I'd like to the in the front
(driver) seat
I could not agree with you more Paul. The X3 would have been the better platform but I imagine BMW still have a thing about the so called 'hairdressers' X3 and don't want to go down this road again
although the new 3.0 twin turbo diesels are spot on and probably too much for your average 'hairdresser' (hope we don't have any hairdressers here
)
There was an interesting feature in this week's AutoCar on the 'New BMW X6', they even include some 2Ds (front / side views) of an X6
standing beside the X5. After viewing I am not to keen on the actual bulk of the X6. Its nearly as high as the X5 and it is longer! I will wait until I see one in the flesh ..... errrrr metal before making a final judgement.
I'll be holding onto what I have to the time being until I see a decent 'eco' car that will meet my needs. Oh!, after a long wait I will have my Fuoco on the 25th Sept, so will be able to lessen my CO2 footprint on short journeys at least.
Mike

Yeah, kwistenbiebel it looks good but price will be
the governing factor
Bozilla,
You might have some luck at this site, http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/preview.aspx?ModelCode=1172 I notice that some of the aircraft models have interiors.
Mike
Kris, you are perfectly right about the 10% increase in constructions costs. Its the Chinese and Indian economies putting up all those new buildings. Maybe better to get out of buildings and into Commodities Investment Rolling Eyes
Mike
Sorry to hear that Richard. It isn't a question of how you are going to loose the weight just when it will happen. I'm sure you will achieve this goal once you make up your mind to do it.
As for the date with Paris .... errrr why not give it s shot? Nothing ventured nothing gained
I feel your positive attitude will pull you through this so please keep the faith.
Mike
Have a good one Craig, and hope this

is amoung your presents
Mike
Nice job Jason ..... eeeeerrrr You Guys keep yourselves
in one piece now
Mike
100% Ross
The building plot reminds me of the West Coast of
Ireland. Then again ! Where they joined up at
some point in the distant past ?
I'm interested to know the proposed construction
methods ?
Mike
Archi,
Think about bringing down to running costs to as
close as possible to zero!
This is something that is becoming more important
these days.

(Good old Limerick name, apparently...)
Hi Tim,
Sorry about the 'g', don't know were I got it
Yes you are right Danaher is a Limerick name. Just looked up its meaning on the Net.
'Origin and Meaning
The name translates to 'descendant of Duineachar' the Irish word for 'Manloving'. This is the name of a family who were anciently lords of Crioch Cathbhaidh, in the neighbourhood of Nenagh but were dispossessed soon after the Anglo-Norman invasion and dispersed through Munster, Leinster and Connacht, now most numerous in County Limerick.'
I don't fully agree with the meaning here! The Irish word 'Duineachar' translates better as People Loving as Duine means People not just Man.
Another piece of useless information
Mike
Ennis is unique is so far that it has NO nagging women!
There are many potential naggers but for some reason they
refrain! I think the attached pic explains the sound
reason for this
This site might tell a few things about the little town I
live in, http://www.visitennis.ie/

Just spotted this on the Net. I suppose it
makes a certain amount of sense

Thanks Tom, I enjoyed viewing. The sky in the
second pic is spot on.

Its a beautiful design Alan. I had viewed it some time
ago but its always a pleasure to review good stuff.
On the subject of good stuff, I was watching a program
on Concrete Development last night on the National
Geographic Channel, a full history of concrete the good,
the bad and the ugly from Roman times.
One design that struck me as just perfect was this,

The concrete is 'self cleaning'!
