      Thanks.
      I went ahead and hid the top 'offending' surface of the trusses and this seems to work as suggested in the linked info. I like the idea of creating a layer and then turning it off and on in the scenes as needed.

      All good and thanks again for the help.

    • Ghosting of lines below a surface

      In my SketchUp architectural model, I have a series of trusses (each one is a group entity) below a single roof surface which is 1/2 " above the truss entity. My issue is the ghosting of these trusses through the roof surface. When zoomed out one can clearly see the lines for the top chords of the truss. This happens in all views as I orbit the model. As I zoom in they disappear.

      I tried offsetting the surface more but they still show (ghost) through. I am in shaded texture style.

      Thoughts? I appreciate the help. Apologies for any miscues - this is my first post.
