thanks all to the feedback, and sure the depth and focus can be changed from the depth map i used , and agreed on the outer ring, i hadnt noticed that, must be from looking at it for so long. The wire is all piped using pipe along path , i had used a thicker pipe but seemed to give an unrealistic result, but shall work on another image, i enjoy this sort of stuff.

The textures had all been created in PS and based from eye watching the darts on the tv.

ye its a crafted sub woofer, i basically stripped down the un-needed space of the woofer and made my own

and sure i will post up a model shot.

heya been working on some new designs for speakers and have posted them on other forums so i thought i would bring them onto here .

ok heres my outcome of trying this with a petal model that i made up, took many trys to get the effect i wanted, and used a tutorial below

I used the layer mask but as the backing was all faided due to the white backing layer the tutorial said to use (like a gif image) , i used a podium image of it and set it to "darken" above the layer mask layer, that way it sat behind the layer mask layer when put on "darken" and brought the detail through keeping the focus ... hope that made sense

i will post the previous goes at it below if anyone wants to see them

this is amazing, welldone the water looks great from this angle too

hey, these images are from a uni project that is almost complete that i have been working on for some time now, i went back and reworked with lighting on podium .

hey solo, im just cooking a version of water and ths design, shll post as soon as it is done, i was having problems with small triangles being visable in the final render as grey triangles. i have moved my lighting at a different angle as im thinking its a refection from the squares placed around it, we shall see what happens

here is a PS render modelhead. there is more to do tho, like focus and sharpness maybe specs of debree.

i do wana add a water level as if its fell into water, thats the next step, any hints and tips how to get realistic water ? thankyou all for yout time on this btw been much help so far

yep thats what im doing at mo just testing it out at the moment.

below is my version, but i think having the parts falling in the previous image look better and allows the mind to think where its falling from, with the whole it leaves nothing to the imagination

ye looks nice, colours look very nice there, im yet to play with the colours as yet just got form and simple colours at mo, but def the way to proceed

no sketchy physics , i used a plug in caled grow and it copys a shape you make in x y z dirctions with rotations. i did this then manualy moved them to make them look non generated.

im working on the wall at the back at the moment to make hole with peice broke open as its fallen through it , for this im using the sandbox to get the shape then deleting parts to show howthe object has broken through it, hope this helps you out.
