Shall be re working some old sketch up concepts into 3Ds soon to get some crazy details. Still use sketch-up for smaller lo poly objects.

Hi i have been working on some graphics with a company called Triad and have created 3D models i then use for graphics but in this case to passed on as 3DS model on to be used in Strata.

Lovely stuff, and blender is a good tool isnt it . Spec to get 3Ds models out of the sketchup free as it reads the only free export. And i agree the internal rendering in blender is good. Try Yafaray also, seems to give some good result after looking it up, i had that before i updated to windows 7. Just have to re download it.

Again having a bit of a play with a Component i had made for a lamp with tessellating parts. But had some fun with abstract artwork.

ok also i just upgrated to Windows 7. Good stuff. but when i installed sketchup (well got close to) i get this error and it rolls back. Even when i run as admin. hummmm any ideas? something on windows 7 i need to know
