Hi Dave R.,
I want to project into the Z-X plane.
I tried to create a flat TIN then Sandbox-> Drape the vessels onto the flat plane. That had no effect. I could not find the D Bur Projection for Sketchup 2014. Does anyone know if they are forward compatible. Here is what I was able to find for Fredo's plug ins. Nothing seemed to fit the bill.

RE: Centering 3D object around a 2D plane
Hi,
I've attached a front view and sideview of the vessels.
The vessel tree takes a tortuous pathway in x,y,z.
I want to remove the curvature in the z-axis so the center of the entire course of the the vessels are centered in the x-y plane.
Thanks,
Dan -
RE: Centering 3D object around a 2D plane
The simple answer is Yes, the real question is, What exactly are you having difficulty with?
Thanks for your reply. I am just beginning with Sketchup. Does what I am trying to do require a plug-in? The approach I am taking now is tracing a stick figure of the vascular tree in a plane, then using the follow me tool. I'd prefer to preserve all the features of the tree. I do not know where to begin with the approach.
Thanks,

Centering 3D object around a 2D plane
Hi-
I have a 3D model of a the veins and arteries in the thorax and abdomen. I want to center the 3D objects around a 2D plane, but maintain their diameters (i.e., I do not want to end up with 2D objects, I want them to retain their 3D properties).
Is this possible?
Help,
Dan
